Parents Evenings 

We believe it is important for parents/carers to be provided with the opportunity to discuss how their child has settled into their new class and also to discuss their child’s progress to date, so I am very pleased to inform you that we will be holding our first face to face parents' meetings of the 2023/24 academic year week beginning October 9^th. 

We will be holding our parents’ meetings for children in Reception to Year 6 Classes on Tuesday October 10^th and Wednesday October 11^th with appointments taking place in the school building.

Due to unforeseen circumstance out of out control, the Nursery session will now be taking place on Monday October 9^th between 9am and 5pm.

Please contact your class teacher if you are unable to make the planned sessions  or if you may find a video meeting more convenient. 

We will again be using the online booking system for parents evening called School Cloud. 

 Invites for these sessions will be released at 6pm today and the link to the booking system is found below.

Attached is a parent’s guide explaining how to book onto the system. The system will only recognise main contact emails on the school system, and using the correct title e.g. Mr, Mrs, Miss, Ms, Dr etc that you used when proving your on-entry details to school. 

When you get your invite, you will need to log into the online booking platform which allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers.  Once you have booked your appointments you will receive an email confirming them. 

Please ensure that we have your correct email address if you have changed it recently.

If you have any difficulty with the booking system or with an appointment, please contact the school office and copy in your class teacher. 

We did not want to rearrange the set dates for these meetings following the notification of an Estyn inspection the week before but I will apologise in advance that emails sent to school may not be responded to as quickly as usual next week as both teachers and myself will be preoccupied either in the classrooms or in meetings with inspectors.
