World Book Day – Thursday 5th March

This year we will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5th March. Your child is welcome to dress up as a character from a book if they wish.
Please could your child bring to school one of their favourite books that they can share with other children in the school. It would be helpful if your child’s name is in the book to avoid them being mislaid.
Each child will bring home with them a World Book Day token which they can exchange for a £1.00 book or get £1.00 off a book of their choice. These tokens can be redeemed at booksellers supporting the campaign. Further information about World Book Day, the books and supporting retailers can be found on the website www.worldbookday.com.
