Year 6 Spring Half Term ReviewBy Mia W and Daisy

What have we learnt?

• In English we have learnt how to write an autobiography and a biography.
• In maths we have learnt how to do long division and short division.
• In Topic we have started learning about World War II and the Blitz. We have also gone on a trip to Stockport Air-Raid shelters and we dressed up as World War II children.
• In P.E we have started playing hockey.
• In Welsh we have been learning how to have a conversation and read a poem in welsh.
• In Science we have done one investigation and are doing another soon.

What have we enjoyed?

I have enjoyed playing Hockey in P.E because it was new to me and once I tried it I fell in love with it. I have also enjoyed learning about world war II because it’s really interesting to me about what they did back in their days. Mia W

I have enjoyed writing the biographies in English because it was fun learning more about my friends. I have also liked doing a leaflet about the Blitz because I learnt a lot more about it. Daisy  b

Next half term...

Next term we will be learning about the Holocaust, writing a diary, symmetry, rotation, probability and shape work.
